The winter of 2012 was unforgiving. One morning, as Mr. Sharukh made his way to college, a sight stopped him in his tracks. On the cold pavement lay an elderly man, shivering, frail, and exposed to the biting wind. It wasn’t just the sight that moved Sharukh, but the man’s whispered words: “Being human is given, but keeping humanity is a choice.”

Those words pierced Sharukh’s soul. He felt a fire ignite within him—a call to act. Without hesitation, he rushed to a nearby shop, purchased a warm blanket, and draped it over the old man. That simple act of kindness didn’t just save a life from the cold; it awakened a purpose in Sharukh’s heart.

He couldn’t keep this newfound purpose to himself. He shared it with his closest friend, Mr. Pruthvi, who immediately joined him in the mission. Together, they started with small acts—distributing blankets, providing food to the homeless, and lending a helping hand wherever it was needed. What began as two college students with a dream soon grew into a movement. By 2013, they decided to formalize their efforts and founded an organization named AMIS’D Services—a name reflecting their vision of “Always Motivated to Inspire Society Dynamically.”

As their initiatives gained momentum, the duo caught the attention of Mr. Chandra Mohan, a seasoned mentor and visionary in the field of social work. Seeing their potential, Chandra Mohan took Sharukh and Pruthvi under his wing, teaching them how to expand their impact. Under his guidance, AMIS’D Services flourished. What started as a team of two quickly grew to a group of 30 passionate volunteers, all driven by a shared vision.

The organization didn’t stop at providing aid. Recognizing the power of awareness, they launched a series of social programs to educate and empower their community. From organizing workshops on health and hygiene to campaigns on the importance of education and environmental conservation, AMIS’D Services became a voice for change. They spoke out against child labor, encouraged gender equality, and inspired people to take responsibility for building a better society.

Their efforts resonated far and wide. Businessmen, intellectuals, and philanthropists from Vijayawada joined hands with them, bringing in resources and expertise. Together, they amplified their impact, touching countless lives. What began as a simple act of compassion on a cold winter morning evolved into a movement that united people from all walks of life.

From distributing essentials to the underprivileged to raising awareness about social issues, AMIS’D Services transformed into a beacon of hope. Today, AMIS’D Services stands as a powerful reminder that anyone, regardless of their background, can make a difference.
